About Me
Amelia Farahbakhsh is a Registered Music Teacher in the province of Alberta, as well as a certified Music for Young Children instructor. She has been teaching piano performance and theory as well as accompanying students for various instrumental, choir and voice performances for over 20 years. She has taught students at her home studio, Keyano College in Fort McMurray, and different music schools in Alberta.

She has been playing the piano since her childhood and was introduced to voice and accompaniment in her college years.

Amelia loves working with students, and as a mother, she appreciates the importance of music in the development of children’s mental and cognitive growth.
Amelia's teaching philosophy and approach is based on finding the better person in ourselves with the help of music. Both her knowledge of music and her bachelor’s degree in psychology help her in establishing a rich and respectful relationship with her students in different age groups.
